This policy explains how Day Ding handles selected or entered content, permissions, local storage and sharing. The app is provided by Zhongbo Zhu.
Items and shift information
Titles, dates, cycles, reminder settings, completion history and the member names/work-rest patterns you enter are stored on device. There are no member invitations, online shift sharing or developer cloud sync.
System permissions
Local notifications are optional. System alarms on iOS 26 or later use separate AlarmKit permission. Records remain usable if permission is denied. No microphone, speech, photo, contact, location or system calendar permission is requested.
Notifications and alarms
When enabled, item titles, times and local identifiers are passed to iOS notifications or alarms and may appear on the lock screen. Schedule identifiers are kept in local preferences, and queues are reconciled on opening, editing or completion.
Storage, backups and deletion
Items and shifts use local atomic JSON storage, without a separate custom encryption layer. Files are not excluded from system backups; Apple backup behavior depends on your settings. Delete records in the app or use Delete App to remove local app data; Offload App may preserve it. There is currently no export or import restoration feature.
External services
There is no application server, developer account system, advertising, tracking, analytics SDK or remote AI. Schedules, member names and usage records are not sent to the developer. System notifications, alarms, backups, diagnostics and the App Store are handled by Apple.
Website and email support
When you visit the website, hosting services may process IP addresses, requests and technical logs to deliver and secure pages. There are no ads, analytics scripts or tracking cookies; only an appearance preference is stored in the browser. Emailing kevin06nju@gmail.com sends your address, message and attachments to the developer through Gmail for support and necessary follow-up. Avoid unrelated sensitive information.

Zhongbo Zhu is the developer and person responsible for handling personal information, reachable at kevin06nju@gmail.com. Support messages are retained for handling requests and necessary recordkeeping. You may request access, correction or deletion, subject to legal retention requirements. This policy will be updated if data practices change, with appropriate permission obtained when required.
